Welcome Andy Wynd to Meeting Centres Scotland!

We’re delighted to welcome Andy Wynd to the Meeting Centres Scotland team!
Andy will be working with us to help co-produce a new Quality Standards Framework for Meeting Centres across the country. This exciting project aims to support the continued growth of welcoming, inclusive spaces for people living with dementia and their families.
Andy brings a wealth of experience from across health and social care, and he’s passionate about making sure that services are shaped by the voices of the people who use them. His approach is all about working with people, not for them – making him a brilliant fit for this co-produced journey.
This work is part of the IMPACT (Improving Adult Care Together) UK Facilitator Programme, and Andy will be employed by the University of Stirling to carry out this role. The programme supports real-world change in adult social care by connecting research, practice, and lived experience – exactly the kind of approach Meeting Centres are built on.
Over the coming months, Andy will be speaking with members, families, staff and communities to understand what makes a great Meeting Centre – and how we can support that excellence across Scotland.
We’re thrilled to have him on board – welcome, Andy!
